Story
Act 1
You find yourself standing in front of your trusted fixer, Ron Elbert, at the Nut Farm bar’s top floor office. Ron Leads the Night Blood gang and gives you and your friends odd jobs every once in a while. Pay is good, risk is manageable, and Ron isn't the worst person to work with. Ron is a ginger (gross) man, semi cut, with a cybernetic arm and a shotgun on his hip. Usually dresses in business attire, Ron likes to call himself a business man, but we both know what he really is. He is usually straight, to the point, and very serious. Ron, sitting at his desk, tells the players, “Boys do I have the perfect gig for you… Context, the Mafia has set up shop a little too close to home, so I need to show those old timey gonks who owns this place. There is a warehouse on the other side of the corpo center, [LOOK UP ADDRESS]. Ima need you guys to repossess some of the assets in that warehouse and bring it here. I Don’t exactly care how you acquire the goods, just grab all you can and burn the rest. Bring it back here, just around back. Pay is double the usual, 1k each, more depending on how much of the stuff you grab.”Naturally burning drugs is a terrible idea, so we will see what the players do here… >>Players are free here to spend any excess money, or do extra things like GET A CAR. Upon arriving at the warehouse, players will find two men in suits and fedoras outside with no visible cyberware. They are open carrying tommy guns with drum mags, 1920’s style (Chicago Goon). Both speak in a chicago accent, and will gladly light up the players if angered. Wearing no armor, so easily killable. Inside there are about 10 more guards, wearing the same clothing (same goon) and 3 specialist goons (Chicago Specialist). >>Here will need to improvise based on player’s actions, whether stealthy or just walking in.
Inside the warehouse
players will find pallets of drugs, so many that it would be impossible to fit it all in 1 car. If counted, there are 29 pallets of Tarogen and 1 pallet of misc drugs like hypo and synthcoke. If players know, 1 box of Tarogen is more valuable than the entire pallet of misc drugs. Each pallet has 8 boxes of drugs wrapped up. Each box has 30 doses of each. >>Players CAN leave and come back with a box truck or something, but by the time they get back, majority of the product will be gone (4 Pallets of Tarogen and the misc drug pallet left) and there will be even more guards there now. 5 cops, 10 Chicago Goons, 8 Chicago Specialists, and 1 Chicago MiniBoss. Currently loading the rest of the product into a truck themselves, so bringing one would have been useless unless thought of ahead of time. So players get drugs to Nut Farm. Ron will pay 100 to each player per box, so if 1 pallet = 800 per player. He will pay not very much for the misc drugs. Once players bring the goods, however they can, Ron greets them with 2 bodyguards. These guys look built for close quarters engagements, shotguns, blades, the whole works. Once players give the money up, Ron will get one of his guys to drop the bag of money, classic exchange, done it before. Ron goes, “see you guys for the next one…” and him and his guys walk back into the nut farm with the goods. Players now free to go around and do what they please until the next job (hint that something might happen here so can't end session) >>After a bit, jump them with Chicago Specialists, its time to introduce the boss… Bagged and incapacitated, players are brought to the Night City Bay (they dont know this). They noticed things being wrapped to their feet and their restraints. They are walked to a spot and once they are all in place, the bags on their heads are lifted. Upon the bag being lifted, they are blinded with car lights shining on them, they slowly notice that there are a lot of goons here and they are at the docks, backs facing the water. All players and Ron and 2 bodyguards from Ron’s place are here. One man starts to walk forward, and says, “So, you boys thought you could just steal from me and kill my men right under my nose huh? Well you thought wrong. I think its time you meet the rest of my enemies.” He waves at one of his goons, this one is decked out in cyberware. The mini boss goon goes to rons body guards and pushes them into the water, once he gets to Ron, Ron says, “You won’t get away with this, the night bloods are going to have your head you know…” Man responds with, “eh, ive dealt with worse before.” and the mini boss pushes ron into the water. The mini boss gets to the players and the man says, “Wait. You boys did a bang up job on my place, if all of you equal all of the goons you killed, then maybe you can be useful. Choice is yours…” If a player says no, they are pushed into the water and die, assuming other players agree, they are cut loose and introduced to the man. “The name’s Al, Al Capone. Welcome to the Mafia.” He walks away, saying, “Meet me at this location for your next job, you got 24 hours to get straight.” As he is saying this, the miniboss hands players a piece of paper with an address on it, and then walks away too. As players are leaving the docks, a bright flash of light and boom happens on the same empty street as them, and a minivan comes soaring by, and stopping nearly in front of them. Players hear some mumblings in the car, indistinct, and a man steps out. He looks relatively older, blonde long hair, labcoat and shirtless underneath. In a surfer voice he laughs, “HAHAHA, I can’t believe it worked brah!” He looks at players, “I just like-” BANG The mans head explodes right in front of the players, and players look towards where the shot came from. It was Al Capone right next to his own car. He shouts, “Just saved ya life again boys, better be grateful. Consider that minivan a sign on bonus.” Him and his goons speed away, as the players are left with a dead corpse in front of them, and a slightly bloody purple minivan. Upon closer inspection, it looks heavily modded, and seats 8 people. It is still smoking from the flash and bang it just came from. If players get in, an AI greets them [Play voice clip here]. [END SCENE]
Act 2
Upon the start, inform players of what Mike looked like, and that Kiriko and Danny's foster parent friend Nate are there. Kiriko will ask Nate, "Why are you here? I get that Cass got mixed in with some bad group again but what are you doing here?" Nate will reply with, "I know this guy, so I guess thats why I'm here.", Kiriko will look at Cass and say, "Oh I havn't introduced him to you yet, this is my other boyfriend Nate." Upon analyzing Nate, he is unbelievable buff, and sort of recognizable as a media. >>Kiriko here can converse with the car if players choose not to >>Players here can converse with the car, use the preset soundboard, but dont introduce the borg bot idea until later >>At this point, players can choose to time travel (maybe use a sound that does not promote time travel unless the players know when, where, and why they should) >>Players can wait until meeting time, or continue where they left off last session in their free time. Proceed when players head to meeting spot with Al The address on the paper, funnily enough, points back to the Nut Farm. Upon arriving, players will notice Chicago goons outside the bar, and inside the bar, they don't serve alcohol, or at least publicly. Players will need to head to the back, the same office where Ron was to meet Al. >>If players are thinking of jumping and killing Al here, show how its suicide with multiple Chicago Mini Bosses and specialists. Upon entering the office, Al will say “Ah, looks like you boys chose the right option. I’ve got some great jobs lined up for you. There's this convoy from Brah Corp headed through our area, Ima need you fellas to liberate the contents in said convoy. I’ve got no idea what is inside there, all I knows is I want it.” He hands a shard over to the players with details on when and where the convoy is headed. There is also details of what the convoy consists of, 2 trucks, and 2 humvees, so 6 goons (use random goon generator) but all dressed in suits. (all have SMG 21 (3D6, 2/3/15, 30) or random pistol) One Humvee has a .50 on top. They arrive from the city outskirts and are heading into the corpo center. Players should intercept BEFORE they get to the corpo center. Earlier the better, but the earlier the less rooftops and cover... >>Players can choose where to take the convoy and how. If players mess it up, they always have a time machine, but should not use it to meet themselves. If they do, introduce some villain from a different time or something. CANT ACTUALLY USE TIME MACHINE unless power core… Inside convoys, One has weapons, one has drugs. One pallet of Tarogen, and other unknown drug [CHECK GEAR] inside inside, there is also a round device inside that is in a very protective box (power core). The weapon truck has 1 crate of H&K G38’s (10), no ammo, but one big metal box in the back. Upon opening, players see a very large gun with a huge mag on the side. The gun is very heavy and anyone attempting to shoot it will most likely dislocate their shoulder. Upon inspection, this gun fires a custom 20mm round (7D10 AP), and the mag only has 10 rounds in it. It looks like a massive sniper rifle. Lastly there is another prototype weapon. Its a solid rifle, with a display on the top facing the shooter. There is no obvious magazine to it, but looks cool. [LASR] >>Naturally, all of the contents of these trucks should be brought to Al, hiding some of it might result in punishments… As players leave, if they don't discover a tracking device on the vehicles, they will be pursued by goons on bikes (4). >>Snarky AI comment, “well that was surprisingly convenient.” Players bring back goods to the nut farm, in or out trucks. If they bring the convoys trucks to the nut farm, then Al will be upset, “you really thought bringing a tracked vehicle to my place of business was a good idea?” Then will burn down nut farm. Either way, new location for doing business. Al will pay them each 1k for the job, no extra, will not budge. Players free from here to kill time before next job. [END SCENE]
Act 3
>>diffuculty curve here, no holding back by shooting once or just skipping attack turns all together... Aether should be introduced BEFORE players meet Al for the job. Cullen went to the bar to find a new girl maybe? Or play Casino line for van and make players gamble, meet there. WE CANT FORCE THIS ENCOUNTER, "roll" for ATTR, make her appear naturally. Bring up something like, "cullen, theres a lot of fish in this sea if you want to try your luck"
>>Its been a few days since the last mission, Al has been keeping an eye on the players so they don't leave while they still owe him. Everyone needs to roll 1D10, on a 1 or 2, they need to pay ALL of their monthlies.
No, they cannot have skill improvements here, players have been laying low, so staying at others/their housing/street
Players get informed, whether by call, or by mafia goons showing up and telling them that Al requests a meet. Players will recieve a new address to go to, as the Nut Farm is comprimised. New address leads to a high rise building in the corpo center. The outside of the building has no obvious markings as to whose building it is, but upon entering it is very obviously Al's as there are a ton of goons walking around in 1920's suits and tommy guns. The receptionist is a middle aged women who somehow also sounds like she is from Chicago. She informs players that Al is waiting for them on the 70th floor.
Inside Al's huge office, he tells players,
"Welcome to the HQ, I trust you goons wont spill the deets on where this place is yeah?"
"anyway, I got a job for you. Somebody got something I want, unfortunatly he is usually well protected. Any time he leaves his work place, he disappears from my guys. He's got a lot of information I need, usually on that laptop he carries around."
He hands players another shard, it gives players the address of the office that this person works at, and his details. His name is Derrik Eon, a medtechie that works for Brah Corp. His computer contains the whereabouts of Brah Corp's stored products, which is a closely guarded secret. He is in a smaller office building near the Corpo Center, but still vast in size. The building is Brah Corp's Drug office, which used to be the Accelerated Research Lab owned by Elon Musk. Derrik's office is on the 40th floor of the building, and players need to find a way to grab his laptop while he is inside the building. Every night, he leaves the building and is never to be seen again until the next morning.
>>Players can choose to try and track Darthon to where he lives, or take the laptop while he is inside. Both are possible, just one might be easier to grab than the other if players want to be hyper aggro
>>players also have option of time travel, say someone dies trying to get it, they can always go back in time to change their fate...

Darthon has a personal safe inside his office, which contains valuable objects to him. Inside:
- A picture of him with 4 arms and other people (Gary, Johnny Afterburner, Elon Musk, Dr. Chang, Lucas Barellio, and DeathStroke)
- A blue ring (contains his powers)
- A vial of unknown substances (death drug and super power drug) one is labeled "for them" and the other "for me"
- An address with a note on it, "If you ever need help, I'll be where our dreams became reality. -G"
- A weird capsule shaped object, too big to be a pill, and cold to the touch
On his computer, the following information can be found:
- Locations of the 3 warehouses that Brah Corp stores their goods, Drug warehouse is the first, Weapon Warehouse is the second, and General Warehouse is the third
- Emails from a man named Mike Felsing, detailing information about recent theft of goods from convoys.
- Another email from Mike, along the lines of "Subjects are on track, working in the right place. Analyze what their next moves are. Some are already ripe for the picking, so advance on Plan Q."
- other random information, like chemical compounds for drugs labeled as Project X, Project D, and Project R. (x is super power, D is death, and R is reflex like Tarogen and Elfine)
Upon Retreving laptop, players should deliver to Al Capone in his high rise. He will take it, wire players e$750, and say something along the lines of "Your debt is almost payed off, just one last heist and you will be a free agent of mine. There may be even more profit involved in this next job. Meet me back here in a few hours while I get the deets set up."

Act 4: The Day of Reckoning
>>big choices here. At some point, Brah Corp will try to sway players to their side of the coin, and kill Al. Still don't know if I want Aether to be the one or not. Prob gonna be someone like Franz
>>PREFACE: tell players that Im probably not going to hold back too much in combat now, they should know the jist, but stuff like bosses wont be min maxxed. With Goons however, they will be gunning to kill. Basically im going to take multiple actions, im going to use full auto and 3 round burst. players have the means to wipe the floor with the goons.
Players should be called to Al's building where the plan is now finalized. Al should say something like:
"you boys ready to pay off your debt?"
Then Kiriko gets thrown in the room like jake last session,
"and your debt too? She thought she could get away from this... Say, where is that friend of yours X-pert?"
Kiriko should retort with something like:
"good luck finding him. even if you did, i feel bad for the people who do..."
Al:
"what ever little lady, you goons are going to be the front line of this assualt. Most of my other men will be hitting the other warehouses, but i want you goofs to hit the drug warehouse. ill send some guys with you, but i intend you to get all the goods my box trucks can carry. You do this and your debt is paid off..."
"again, the main item i need is that blue drug called tarogen. I don't care about the rest, your resident druggie can OD on the rest for all i care... You should already know the place, fattie over here gave me the info anyway."
Kirko is distant to cullen, noticing he spent no time to get a new gf...
Aether is with players here, and she will ask Al a few questions:
"so, this drug is supposed to be the big money maker huh..? Ever think you could make more if you did more than the crappy street drugs?"
AL: "honey, i think i know how to run a business more than you. I doubt you have any expierence in corporations and the like."
AETHER: "dont judge a book by its cover..."
Once players get out of building, there are a lot of cars on the side of the road here, and a bunch of henchmen. There is a large quantity of box trucks and some goons walk up to players and tell them that they will follow them to the target location. Al walks out, and says:
"alright boys, big score today, lets get it done."
He then gets in one of the box trucks and they roll out to the weapons warehouse (players dont know).
Players + Kiriko + Aether should head to the drug warehouse at this point, goons wont let them dilly dally.
>>Pull over players here, 2 cops asking where players are headed to tonight. Easy to convince. if they end up inspecting inside the minivan, players are screwed.
Once arrived at the "warehouse" the location is actually a coffee shop in the northside district. Inside the coffee shop are regular people and regular looking workers. There is nothing around back and the sides are flanked by other shops that also have legit businesses in them. Upon grilling the workers further, they reveal that the warehouse is underneath the coffee shop and point them to the secret enterance.
inside of the warehouse is huge, tons of boxes all color coded. There is a fridge section, and the computer would reveal all info on what is where. There is a blast proof door labeled "CLASSIFIED" where the super power drugs are. You need a level 3 keycard (blue) to get in. or mike can hack it.
Inside is also a load of goons, were talking like 15 minimum, 5 of which have ARs. total of 4 goon allies, just regular Chicago Goon. I also want a gun emplacement inside, just your normal M2HB, should direct fire at Aether.
>>before players go in, Aether will request that she can get prepped before this fight. Here she will grab some armor and inform Darthon that players are at the drug warehouse. She should come back with some nifty looking armor, practically a mech suit.
>>so ideally if players die, there is a litteral time machine to let them go back in time to fix it. even so, use the new player rule. should help advance the plot suprisingly.
Map of Warehouse:
>>so this is an incentive to time travel, Kiriko will say something like, "they were expecting us to come here..." "WAIT, can't we just go back in time before yesterday and rob this place blind?"
Once the warehouse is liberated, ideally all goons are dead and aether shot up like crazy. cant die tho so play it a bit safe with the .50. players should have free reign for a bit, theres an elevator to the street outside to load the cargo. Once the first few batches are loaded, introduce the ultimatium...
Inside Fridge room:
- New drug (adds humanity for 1D10 weeks)
- litteral bio-weapons
Inside classified room:
- same drug as in darthon safe, one black drug(death) and one glowing red drug (super power)
Players will notice a man in knight armor walking towards them, with a sword drawn. Aether will ask players to hear him out. He walks up to players and says:
"Gentlemen, I have a proposition for you. Why work for this old time gangster when you could be working for the very corporation you are stealing from?"
So here, Darthon is on overwatch from a distance to observe players. Don't shoot them, and Aether should still be in deep cover with the players rn. So players CAN kill Sickingen here and stay loyal to Al,
OR
they can agree to his terms:
- kill Al
- work for future brah corp expidentures, need to work off all the problems they caused, but will pay players handsomly
Killing Sickingen here should not be a hard task, but regardless of choice a new enemy approaches...
Further down the street, some ancient roman soldiers (4) approach players shouting in Latin with their swords raised. Players can hear them say "GLORIA CAESARI" and "UT CAPITA EORUM" (take their heads)
Players should dispatch these romans easily, and one of the side characters will say something like "wow, looks like caesar is in town." and "This is not a good sign. Rome invading NUSA is probably a sign that we will all die..."
Rome has nukes, duh. Romans killing anyone on the street, probably a declaration of war.

Act 5
Players return to sickingen, give the eyeball and the hat, he says like wow what a quick time that was just wow. Tells players they should meet him at corpo center building. Walking away, casually kills some romans. [FREE TIME] During free time, Kiriko will go do her own thing (players cant figure it out…) Max time here is 8 hours, sickingen should tell them not to be too late. [END FREE TIME] During and after free time, players should notice the city getting worse and worse, more fire, tons of dead bodies (maybe throw a roman encounter here). Mainly there are dead romans, but lots of civilians in the mix. As they drive to the corpo center, they should get re routed by national guard 1D6 times. Kiriko will meet players outside of the building, aether too. Cullen gets free time, but is tossed into planning room. Once they arrive, Sickingen will be waiting in the lobby. Greet players, bring them in the elevator, go to like 80th floor or something. This is the debrief room, big table with holograms and stuff on it. Sickingen will introduce players to Mike, who is glad they are working for him. He can see a bright future for everyone or something, is youngish. New guy walks in [MAKE A NEW SIDE CHARACTER] and leads the mission brief. This is an extraction op, clean and simple, dead or alive. HVT is currently located at the airfield, players should note that the airfield is the same address as given on the paper in darthons safe. Minimal security, just local police force and TSA stuff, no big deal. Grab Nate (not mentioned by name), dead or alive. They give players a tracker that should help them locate the HVT. On the way to the airport, even more death and fires, airport is actually a evac point for civilians. So players need to track down nate through crowds of people, and a lot of local police. Players can forgo weapons and not have to deal with cops, but i doubt they are smart enough. Logically, once HVT revealed to be Nate, cullen will attempt to kill him, but Nate is in a frantic state. Keeps mumbling to himself, things like rocket league, simulation, and stuff. Kiriko will tell players that they need to find a way to calm him down, where she will try to bring him to her friend (sally)’s RV. Hopefully players bring him there, if not just roll with it. Regardless, players need to decide what to do with Nate. Here past might just need to improv, but set up what the 78th floor is, and side characters Id say introduce caesar at the airport, saying something like “these are the people im conquering? Haha, you will all bow before caesar, dead or alive!” and then go to town on the civilians and cops. This should be towards the beginning, and kiriko will incentivize just running. By the time players are leaving, caesar should be victorious, barely. Can choose to kill him here or do something else with him. Van will make a remark, like wow whats next a samurai, then introduce the samurai villain later. [END SCENE]
Act 6: Filler Episode
Kinda just need to riff off of players, right now they are in a flux state where they could work for brah corp, or try to take them down. So i guess here we need to reveal Aether’s true colors, seduce cullen or something. Use soundboard for car to try and get players to gary? Ideally gary sidequest here, but we just need to flesh out the world at this point So aether got away with nate, get in car and play voiceline, so make gary mission too So players went back and got ring, waited and then stalked aether to get nate If players kill aether: nate, still crazed, wants out. He is going to start walking towards the brah corp building. Once inside, he will just ignore anyone trying to stop him, and go up to the 91st floor. (MEM FLASH AT 91) if he goes alone, will never be seen again. This should be players main goal, get into 91, but there is way to many goons and freaks to get in without nate. Players go with aether: aether will hand nate over to mike personally, where he is dragged into the 78th floor (one with the pods and stuff). Mike pays each player like 5k, and wants them for another mission. Basically be ambassadors in rome, try to stop the nuclear war. [END SCENE]
Act 7: gary i think
Walk into hangar, big space plane thing, preset coordinates. Leads to giant space station, lands in hangar bay. Hangar has a lot of loose items about, more junk than anything good. Boxes strewn about, one other small space plane. Walking through vast corridors, multiple signs. ← observatory, sleeping quarters, training room, armory, lab, escape pods, control room, etc. gary is located in observatory, sleeping quarters is dead empty, training room has some airsoft guns and stuff, adaptive training grounds and whatnot. Armory has only LASRs, lab has chemicals that look gross and disgusting, like bad for you chemicals, and escape pods are escape pods, still work. Control room has a load of computers, and a half destroyed robot body thing. Only thing intact is the head and an arm. Gary chillin, looking out window. Spends most of his time there, days of conquering the world are long past him. Band got disbanded, but is building something to start anew. Control room confirms this, progress meter and time left: 116 days. Basically big ship that he plans to travel to another dimension. Would have used infinity stones, but the guy with the space stone took it somewhere. Probably died in a void or something. If looking for borgbot, he has is own virtual space he lives in. called something like sword something online. Need a body, just ask him in the game. Call a mod, ask for borgbot, and gary sent you. He does not intend to go to the surface any time soon, nuclear war imminent with rome and US, doesn’t want to be caught in the crossfire. Kinda why he is leaving, he knows that the nuclear apocalypse is almost here. Got out plane and bumped into shin, were just gonna jump the players with some cops inside the hangar. (everything goes dark, so -5 to hit or something) players can surrender, doubt they would. Lore on why cops jumped them: Shin saw frank take an aircraft out of the hangar, upon investigating the hangar, plane came back, so setup an ambush Gary walks in, tells players that borgbot is some dude named bartholomew in his game, very famous dude. Players need to get a vr headset or something, some cheap ones at an arcade. Regardless, dnd adventure here, beat the goblins and find him in his castle or something This is all gonna have to be improv, short as well, basically he will send a body their way. He got no use for them, loves his virtual world [END SCENE]
Act 8: second filler episode
I have no clue what actually happened here, many players missing, so they just did free time events, and i think frank fought shin. in the end, cullen kinda sorta knows that sally mad powerful. Frank took out a loan of 10k to pay for shin to get help from a surgeon who can fix her mental issues and broken leg, needs to pay 438 per month [END SCENE]
Act 9: Sword Something Online
It has been a day since last session, roll for bills. Shin has recovered, seems normal to frank, but has developed some kind of ability (can paralyze any one person she looks at with intent) She has these powers because surgeon used some new drug that Brah Corp payed him to use in patients. He was told that if any possessed very strong powers to send them to Brah Corp. All players are in someone's house, ready to discuss whats next. WHERE WE LEFT OFF: - got intel from gary that Borgbot is in a game called Sword Something Online, the only way to get the body for the minivan is to find him inside the game. - Nate is awake in Sally's apartment, has not said a word yet, kinda just staring blankly at the wall Kiriko took the last vial, she has the monkey's paw ability for borgbot, game starts in a town, fantasy land. lots of real people in the town, selling beginner gear and stuff. People will tell players that the only way to reach the mod who goes by borg is to win a sword duel contest to raise your level. mods dont pay attention to low level claims. lots of good people in the duel, most of them beginner players though, so if someone has sword skill its free, otherwise will need to grind out levels (lol). for nate, players will arrive at sally, where kiriko is and so is she. show nate staring at the wall, but when players arrive, nate turns to them. Nate will say something like "I know what i have to do" and start to leave the apartment. kiriko tries to stop him, like "no dont go, tell us what you saw pls." but will continue, basically and unstoppable force. Players have the option to follow him, but his path will lead him to brah corp, where he will walk inside and head to floor 78, never to be seen again... Trying to follow him in will trigger a large fight, one that they might not be able to walk away from, but with the help of their friends they might be able to escape. sickengen attacks for the nate quest line, use sanada for the final duel in sword something online sickengen can turn to steel, SP 30 all after borgbot is found, he will tell players that the body is located in a warehouse on the south side of town. The warehouse has a bio scanner and will let the winner enter. Inside the warehouse, there is the body in the center with a light on it, and some bombs, a laptop, jojo power band, dupe pills, and other weapons. Laptop shows manifesto for the Rebirth organization, where the strong would survive and that people with powers should be the ones in control. sickengen will ambush outside, ideally sally or kiriko will be here. Act 10: beginning of the end

SO... sickengen wants players to do what mike says, only trying to do whats best for the world. Idea 1: Mike’s idea is to send the players back to kill caesar (explain why time travel and what not) to prevent the new roman empire from acquiring nukes. (issue is that it could revert his changes) Idea 2: send players to the new roman empire to take out their world leader, prevent nukes from dropping and so on. "you fellas are very lucky (LOL), Mike wants to give you an offer. He will forget past transgressions if you can stop the rome v USA beef before it goes nuclear. You can go back in time and kill caesar or go to italy now and try to sway the emperor. Say players decide not to take the money offer, Kyoko will start losing her mind, but wants to kill these goons. Act 11: Adventures Abroad
recap: players DID decide to take the money job and go to italy in the present to stop the war. going to be honest here, idk how they can pull this off, im going to make it really difficult. They flew to spain with a crackhead friend of mike, and took a boat across the medeterannian sea. On their voyage, they stumbled into the pirate king's waters, and are now boarded... A good idea here is to just make the pirate king a potential ally.. King: "what are ye doin in me waters..?" will help players to italy if they give him some "booty" from the italians. They can also fight the pirate king for his booty, on their dinky little boat, there is the pirate king and 3 other pirate deck hands, high REF and cracked swords. Pirate king has some kind of shock absorbtion, his fat body will just eat bullets. Explode *might* kill him, but unlikely. Onboard the pirate king ship, there is a metric ton of gold, lots of assualt rifles, sniper rifles, and a prisoner. Name Franz, buff as butts, and the Archduke of something called the austro-hungarian empire. ITALY: Upon arriving at the italian shore, players will find people enjoying life, happy, and roman banners everywhere. A dystopian state, there are soldiers patrolling everywhere the eye can see. To get an audience or even assassinate the emporor, thats gonna have to be improv. Located in Rome, the emporor's palace is massive, standing 40 stories tall in a stone castle, mixed with state of the art turrets and other security measures. Booty that the pirate king would want? Content in the vault obv. Inside the vault resides the remote nuclear launch codes (a device that can launch all of Rome's nukes from anywhere in the world, 1 of 1), also a ton of gold and ancient artifacts like the sword of caesar, and caesars crown. The current emporor is inside this castle, named Julianos Caesar. He is relativly young for an emporor and is very bloodthirsty. Can be convinced to open a summit with the US to not go nuclear, but thats the furthest he will go. Killing him will result in the destabilization of Rome and subsequent fall, but leaving the nuke codes here will result in nuclear catastrophe everywhere when rebels and extremists steal them for their own personal gain. Stealing the launch codes results in the romans effectivly loosing access to their nukes for about a month, but after that time, they will reset the codes and make a new launch device. Act 12: GLADIATOR!!!
recap: Last session ended, looking at caesar (real), two really buff guys show up, fight on the palace terrace Once two buff guys (gladiators) beaten, there is a royal palace thing with caesar on the throne, sitting slouched looking at players. He is carrying a mystical sword (infinity blade) and applauds characters on their conquest. “Made it so far, only to die by his blade. Make him some cracked up sword guy who can like deflect bullets, make jake show up through like warp gate or something sally won from super luck. Sally is now a lord and owns a castle in austria hungary for being in some random dudes will when he died. Caesar and 2 goons maybe? Once caesar defeated, infighting on who should be the new emperor, caesar has a nice ring, used to access the vault, put sally here or something so i have a way to tell them that they are not done until the nukes are disarmed and they should check where a vault or something might be since she bets the codes are in their. Pirate king wants the gold/crown, the ancient sword is kind of useless and he doesn't know about the infinity blade. Once codes are secured, caesar defeated, players are greeted by a battered and beaten Julius Caesar outside the castle, who will throw a fit about how you cant just cast him aside. (the great thing about this is that if they leave him alive, he can ressurect the roman empire) Otherwise, panic is set in outside and various lieutenants stake their claim to the throne of Rome, and civil war begins to brew outside. Pirate king will take the gold/crown, and leave players in Rome, "you paid yer debts, but i got not business runnin wit emporor killas like yerselves..." LUCKILY, there is an airport closeby, and there is an aircraft carrier docked nearby. So two choices; try to get a civillian aircraft and somehow fly it back, or try to steal the aircraft carrier from the insurrgent navy. CIVILIAN AIRCRAFT: at the airport, a lot of looting and rampage is ensueing, many are already trying to leave the county. There is a few planes on the tarmac, and it looks as though they are all moving aside from 1. This 1 plane is a large 747, and the gate its docked at is swarmed with people trying to get on it. The plane has enough fuel to get to night city, but players need to figure out how to comendeer it and get past the civilians. AIRCRAFT CARRIER: On the carrier, there are a large assortment of aircraft parked on top, but none of them have the range to get to night city in one trip. Trying to get onboard the carrier will prove difficult, as some navy men are guarding the ramp. At this point, the military is very disoriented, and don't know who is in charge. Luckily, if the players grabbed the infinity blade, the military people might recognize that as a sign they are in charge, or atleast someone strong enough to be. A good bit of navy men will not bow to the sword alone, so players need a way to convince or kill the dissenters without destroying the carrier itself. In Night city, players will get ambushed by poop demon. He will say something along the lines of "you idiots are doing this all wrong.. you will only make this catastrophe worse if your greed gets the better of you." He then squares up and will fight the players. After the fight, players should head to brah corp hq, where they can tell frank/mike/derrik that they completed their mission. This mission will reward the following: - 10k each - super power drug each mike/frank/derrik will congratulate the players, and as a token of their appreciation will give them a superpower drug to make them more competent in the field. Mike will call on them should he need another job completed. [END SCENE]
Act 13: Feeling Kind of Hungary
recap: Last session players fought caesar (Julianos) stole a lot of loot, but no aircraft carrier (thank god). Everyone got their powers and money, and are waiting on a call from the new boss. Don't forget they still have the nuke case. Start with FREE TIME. They have the ability to buy virtually anything through brah corp, or they can try to use sally's ability. After free time, kiriko rushes to players, proclaiming that nate has ran off to brah corp and she couldn't stop him. [i cant remember if nate was comatose this whole time or not so retcon] Nate has ran into the brah corp facility himself to try and confront his issues. The only signs that he was there is the giant hole in the side of the building in Mike's office, otherwise he has disappeared. At this point, Xavier (mike's middleman) will contact the players about a job. Since the roman empire has fallen, a massive power vacuum has formed in Europe. Austria-Hungary has taken up a lot of old Roman Empire territory in their war. Our intelligence operators have intel that the Austro-Hungarians have developed some super serum to try and take over the entirety of Europe and maybe the world. You job is to find the super serum, and its makers, and elimate them. Torch their work, and make sure no one else knows about how its made. Fortunatly, Sally has gotten an estate in Austria-Hungary south of Vienna, that is very close to where the secret lab is located. There is also an easy way to fly out to Austria-Hungary, since a lot of Roman military forces are in shambles, the air defence system in rome is down. So players here have a choice: help brah corp again by destabilizing an entire country for more money, or help Kiriko stop brah corp to get nate back. NATE: In the event they go to help Nate, they will meet borgbot Kyoko outside to help, where she wants revenge. To start, they can head directly to mike's office and question him. If they ask where Nate is, he will say he came between him and his family. He knew something was wrong with the timeline and tried to make him fix it, but fixing it would kill his wife and kids. Thats why he needs players to stop Austria-Hungary from making a drug that can bring forward someone who could end his entire way of life. At this point, goons and mini-bosses will appear to escort the players out. Big combat here or they can go on to Austria-Hungary mission, where their loyalty will be tested... AUSTRIA_HUNGARY: The flight to Sally's estate was relaxing, there were no other planes in the air (visibile atleast) and the airport they landed at was empty. In Vienna, the people are very cheerful. Their economy is on the rise and their monarch is very kind. Sally's estate contains a castle, some servants, and a lot of memorabilia from the olden times. Nothing truely of interest here, some nice vintage cars, but nothing to wage war with. The labratory on the other hand, hidden underneath a casino, is rather large, and more scientists than guards. Should be a clean sweep of any guys with guns, but in a panic, one of the scientists will take one of the prototype drugs. After a little bit of time has passed, he will start showing signs of incredible strength. pls view SUPER SERUM in gear to see effects. Basically his 3 powers are Energy Absorbtion [Kinetic] (only takes 10% of damage), Super Strength tier 5, Power Negation field of 3m. Possible to defeat, silver does reduces energy absorbtion by 50%, just stay out of range and hit from a distance, or if cullen can steal the powers from him. With the power band, he cant put the powers into himself, but can give them to other players. After this big fight, the players should sweep the area for any survivors and burn the place down. There are two more prototype drugs left, but they do have some heavy weaknesses to them. During this time, let a little 8 year old kid come out. This kid knows how to make the serum, and is definatly pro Austria-Hungary. He is very opposed to leaving his dead parents in the lab. (Obviously players need to kill the kid, bring a sense of wrong doing to the players somehow) If they manage to bring the kid back with them, then brah corp will just kill the kid themselves. If players come back, and don't want to fight brah corp, they will get paid $20k each for this one, no drugs. Afterward they will fight Poop Demon at full strength. [END SCENE]
